The grand masters of data – Globacom, has kicked off its music and comedy shows in five major cities in Nigeria. These shows were officially flagged-off over the weekend in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, and Benin city. The music and comedy shows with magnificent parties held simultaneously in these cities and attracted a wide range of individuals from fun-loving Nigerian youths to students from various higher institutions and lovers of the Globacom brand. The music and shows are scheduled to shutdown Nigerian cities starting from April 7, 2017.
In Port Harcourt, students from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State University of Science and Technology and some nearby polytechnics came in their numbers, everyone dressed to kill and to have irrepressible fun.
Music superstar Timaya and some senior officials of The Grand Masters of Data made sure that the attendees experienced the best of entertainment. Globacom’s Head of Operations, Mr. Bisi Koleosho and the Regional Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Ashok Israni graced the music and comedy show in Port Harcourt.
The company took advantage the parties to introduce ‘Glo Cafe’; a mobile app designed particularly students and youths. Lagosians trooped to House of Haze [near the University of Lagos] as this was where the music and comedy shows held in lagos. With stars like Bovi, Omni, Whalemouth and Humour Merchant dishing out rib-cracking comedy, students from University of Lagos, Yaba Polytechnic and other nearby institutions laughed themselves out. The venue was seethed with fun-lovers from different parts of Lagos who wanted to unwind and also learn a thing or two about Globacom.
The entertainment was further heightened when the King of the Street, Olamide arrived the party; thrilling the audience with swagger and his good music.
Abuja was no different as youths from different walks of life converged at at Empire Lodge, Stamford Hotel, Kubwa to have uncontrollable fun and entertainment. Glo Ambassador, Sani Danja must have had a ‘selfie overdose’ as the attendees took turns to take ‘selfies’ with him.
Korede Bello thrilled the audience in Ibadan with his scintillating songs. A vast majority of the persons who attended where students from Lead City University and University of Ibadan; the ‘Bellovers’ couldn’t get enough of him.
These mega shows are supposed to continue for six months and a total of 27 Nigerian cities will be visited. All fun loving Nigerians in these cities should keep tabs on this section of Wings Newspaper to know when these pulsating shows will be hitting their cities.
